On Tuesday, 15 July, AmCham EU hosted Vita Jukne, Cabinet Expert to Jessika Roswall, Commissioner for Environment, Water Resilience and a Competitive Circular Economy for a discussion on simplifying environmental legislation to support Europe’s competitiveness. Moderated by Alexander Majer (Dow), Chair, Environment Committee, AmCham EU, the discussion explored initiatives such as the Chemicals Omnibus, the Chemicals Industry Package and the Circular Economy Act as key steps to streamline regulation and reduce complexity. Clear, coherent rules are essential to unlock investment and advance the green transition.
