AmCham EU shares the European Commission’s ambition to make the 2020s Europe’s digital decade’. The consultation response highlights several factors of primary relevance towards this goal. Among others: building and maintaining international partnerships, facilitating broad stakeholder participation, accelerating investment and innovation and enhancing digital skills and inclusion. AmCham EU also stresses the crucial role of US companies’ investments to support the European digital development and the many opportunities entailed in the renewed momentum of the Transatlantic cooperation.
